60 years of the NARVA Trademark Association - first general catalogue

In 1983 – 40 years ago – five members of the association published the first joint catalogue under NARVA. At that time, these were the following companies from the VEB NARVA Rosa Luxemburg (VEB – state-owned enterprise):

  • Berliner Glühlampenwerk,
  • Glühlampenwerk Plauen,
  • Leuchten- und Leuchtstofflampenwerk Brand-Erbisdorf,
  • Glühlampenwerk Oberweißbach,
  • Glüso-Werk – Tambach-Dietharz

At that time, lamps and luminaires were produced and sold, such as:

Small candle lamps - Fairy lights - General purpose lamps with mirrored dome - Large candle lamps - Drop lamps - Luminous flux measuring lamps -
High-pressure mercury lamps - Metal halide lamps - High-pressure sodium vapour lamps - Halogen floodlight lamps - Lamps for photography and filming
UV lamps - Fluorescent lamps - Halogen lamps for projection purposes - Halogen bulbs for traffic lights - Halogen vehicle lamps for main headlights - Incandescent lamps for vehicle lighting and much more.

At that time, the company "Heim-Electric" was exclusively responsible for all exports as a "state-owned foreign trade company of the GDR", located in the House of the Electrical Industry at Alexanderplatz 6 in Berlin.
